        Dear Minister Dempsey,

I am very grateful to you for the information provided in the e-mail from your Office
        dated May 14th 2001.

Whichever way Galway County Council decide to go about it, it is my hope that the illegal
sewerage arrangements in the village (shown at the www page address immediately below)
will be brought within the limits of the law within a reasonable period of time from now.

It is my understanding, and please correct me if I am wrong, that no person or group (and
indeed not even the State itself) has the right to knowingly keep on depriving any citizen
of the benefits and protection provided under the laws of the land.

        Yours sincerely,

        Mr. William Finnerty.
