Dear Gerry,
With the Mary Jennings business in mind, the
Internet address containing the text of my letter, which I sent through the
registered post to
The Director of Public Prosecutions (Mr James Hamilton) on
September
21st 2002, is:
http://www.europeancourtofhumanrightswilliamfinnerty.com/Finnerty/21Sept2002_.htm When
I did not receive any reply from Mr Hamilton to the above letter, or from
any of the other senior public officials the letter at the
above address was copied to (please note in particular the several scanned
copies of the Post Office receipts at the above address), I came to the
conclusion that I was about to be
corruptly criminalised, and
possibly imprisoned as well. Consequently, I fled the Republic of Ireland
jurisdiction about 48 hours before the court case set for
October 9th
2002.
As I suspect you already realise, my attitude towards
corruption in the Republic of Ireland has now hardened to the point where I
believe it is completely impossible for me to make any meaningful or worthwhile
progress relating to the solution of my legal problems without the services of a
lawyer who fully recognises the reality of
Article 6.3.b of the
European
Convention on Human Rights.
Following on from that, if I cannot
find such a lawyer, please note that I have no intention whatsoever of ever
setting foot in the Republic of Ireland again. This is largely because,
once triggered, I genuinely have no control over the "
explosive anger"
associated with the
C-PTSD (Complex-Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) condition I now suffer from: a serious medical
condition which, as their correspondence all too clearly indicates,
neither
Minister for Justice McDowell, nor the
European Ombudsman (Mr
Diamandouros)
even recognise.
In the space of twenty seconds, or even
less, I believe I could easily do enough damage to result in a charge of
attempted murder against a member of the Republic of Ireland police; and, in the right
circumstances, it could even be a charge of murder. This was the main reason I
fled the Republic of Ireland in the early hours of
December 7th
2004; because,
as I believe I may have already
informed you, I actually found myself thinking very seriously of splitting local
Garda (Policeman) Tom Kenny's head into two separate pieces with a hurling stick when he
came to arrest me - for the cowardly and corrupt purpose of unlawfully bullying
me into appearing before the court without I being able to prepare any proper
legal defence. In the meantime, nothing has changed in my mind regarding
this extremely dangerous situation - except for the worse.
Just as
an alcoholic needs to stay away from the "first drink", I
now believe that I have to stay away from the "first encounter with a
member of the Republic of Ireland police force": unless I am provided with a clear
written assurance - well in advance of I returning to the Republic of Ireland -
that the support of a lawyer in the Republic, who fully recognises
the reality of Article 6 of the European Convention on Human
Rights, has been secured.
Allowing for the above, I believe it is now a total waste
of time discussing possible solutions to my legal problems which ignore the
reality Article 6 of the European Convention on Human
Rights.
Finally, it was - as I see things - the fact that
James
Hamilton DPP decided to completely ignore
Article 6.3.b of the European Convention
on Human Rights, in my particular case, that has led directly to the extant warrant for my arrest being
issued in the first place. His wholly flawed, and completely unlawful
decision to deny me my legal rights in this matter is not my responsibility;
instead, I believe it is
ENTIRELY his responsibility - in his role
as Director of Public Prosecutions. In other words, I believe the extant
warrant for my arrest has no legal validity whatsoever, and never has had any -
even though it might
APPEAR to have - thanks entirely to
all of the unlawful and deep-rooted machinery of political, legal, and
corporate corruption which I continue to be subjected to, and which I now see
myself as an extremely angry and potentially very dangerous victim of. I
also fear that the longer this situation is allowed to go on, the more angry and
potentially more dangerous I am likely to become: having due regard for the fact
that no worthwhile progress at all has been made on the legal front since
December 2004 - despite all of my efforts, yours, and Dr McCavert's.
Best wishes,
William.
PS: If
it helps, please note that I am entirely happy for you to relate the contents of
this e-mail to anyone you wish, and to do so in any way you wish. I
believe that everything I have related above is true, and
consequently I further believe that I have
NOTHING to fear
by way of being successfully sued for liable and/or slander and such like.
today.
