Bogus lawyers on Indymedia (Ireland) reported to Chief Commissioner of Police

Dear Commissioner Conroy,

I've been having trouble recently with some people who are posting comments on Indymedia (Ireland) in a manner which suggests to me they are pretending to be lawyers.

As it appears to me that the public badly needs to be protected from people who impersonate lawyers, just as they need to be protected from people who impersonate policemen and doctors for example, I feel you should be informed regarding this matter.

To add to the difficulty, the person (or persons) responsible also appears to be attacking and deceiving people using the anonymous names of "Damien" and "digger" - as can be seen at the following address:

Please note that information at the above address is a BACKUP copy which was made at around 9.30 pm yesterday evening, just after the comment I added at "21.27".

When I checked today, I found that major alterations had AGAIN been made to the present Indymedia version of the text at the above address - so that "Damien" and "digger" are once more back in a position whereby they can deceive the public with impunity regarding core legal issues. If I knew the real identity of "Damien" and "digger" I would very much like to explore the possibility of taking legal action against them myself - regarding the way they are maliciously attempting to undermine my attempts to get justice on my own behalf: in the extremely difficult type of circumstances whereby, as you and your colleagues already well know, I cannot find a lawyer who recognises my legal rights under human rights law. Consequently, I would be most grateful if you would have this matter investigated please, and let me know the real identity of the person (or persons) responsible for the malicious and cowardly attacks they are making on me from behind a shield of anonymity.
